FANTASY INSTALLATIONS

Leafing through my sketchbooks accumulated over the years, I became aware of the multitude of projects that had remained at the stage of sketches artworks once dreamed of but never realized, suspended between the imaginary and the real. This return to my drawings rekindled the desire to give them tangible form, to open a passage between conception and materialization.

These photographs mark a new direction in my work. They form an entirely new typology, extending and complementing my photographs of white balloons.

Created as collages made from paper discs of varying sizes, they are built through layering: the circles echo and overlap one another, weaving a vibrant and nuanced surface, like a delicate bas-relief.
